Biography of A.P. Hill
Growing up in the southern Christian environment, A.P. Hill has always allowed adversity to make her stronger. She believes that her faith, a seed planted by her parents and grandparents., taught her how to have compassion for others. After winning a High School writing contest, A.P. Hill traveled to California to study Journalism and immediately was appointed Editor Editor-in-Chief of her college newspaper. Although she originally pursued other careers, A.P. Hill continued to write and journal her thoughts as poetic verses that reflected the changing world around her – from Martin Luther King Jr’s dream to Barack Obama Presidency.
A. P. has a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) in which her studies included Public Policy and Social Justice in America. A.P. Hill has also earned a Master’s degree in Public Relations (MAPR). Other previous studies have included film, fashion, and communications.
Her goal is to inspire more accountability, efficiency & effectiveness, equity & fairness, legitimacy, & representation in policy making. A.P. has written and self-published several books which include: a Factory Short-Cuts, Sewing and Pattern book, Brief Encounters with Hollywood celebrities, Stars are People too, and Arthur Aunt, a children’s book about safety. She has published poems in two anthologies, Muse Poetry Magazine, and Poetry.com. She has also written and published many newspaper articles.
